Can consuming Nutrigain to build muscles and gain weight induce side effects?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi Doctor, I am an 18-year-old guy with a 6 feet height and a weight of 121 pounds. I want to gain weight and build muscles. Even though I exercise and consume healthy foods, it only tightens my muscles, and I am growing in height. I heard about an Ayurvedic medicine called Nutrigain Powder. Can I build muscle and gain weight by using it without having any side effects? Please give me other suggestions to gain weight.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

Nutrigain (Ashwagandha, Musali, Gokshura) supplement ingredients should not have any side effects. You can take one or two spoons of powder mixed with milk or water twice daily. You might need to take the supplement for a month at least to feel its effect. In case of any side effects like gastrointestinal disturbances within a week, stop and get consulted. Additionally, I suggest following diet:

1) Encourage a high protein diet like fish, vegetable protein like soya, cereal sprouts, and eggs, at least thrice a week or one egg daily.

2)Better to join a fitness center or gym where you can get proper training from an instructor for building and strengthening your muscles.

3)Have adequate sleep of seven hours daily. Sleep plays a great role in anabolism.

4)After the daily exercise, take other protein supplements like whey protein powder mixed with water or milk.

5)Avoid stressful situations if possible, and keep your mind calm.

6)Without a proper workout, eating may help you gain weight with fat deposition, which is of no use, but creates new problems in the future.

7)Do not forget about fresh vegetables and fruits, particularly citrus fruits, which help absorb iron and protein better. Consider having a high-protein meal.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
