Hi doctor,

I am a 17-year-old male. My skin is generally dryish but not problematic. It is light brown, with no acne and no significant issues before treatment. The initial treatment regimen was 4.5 months for two to three times daily. Medications used were Hydroquinone 2 %, Tretinoin 0.025 %, and Mometasone furoate. I got adverse reactions, such as developing a small, rough bump on the neck, which led to massive peeling for several days. Skin became functional but dry, with eczema-like characteristics and acne. My current skin is as follows:

  1. Dark patches were not present before the treatment and were only lessened with Hydroquinone use.
  2. I have increased sensitivity and dryness on the face.
  3. Rough and uneven texture, with no redness or inflammation.

I am open to exploring advanced treatments, including those involving genetic or molecular approaches, if necessary.
