Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Low libido can be due to several reasons such as:

  1. Infections - can be due to urine infection.
  2. Diabetes, hypertension - make sure blood pressure and blood sugar are under control. If you are already on medication, please share the medication names.
  3. Hormonal disturbances - low testosterone, low levels of thyroid, high levels of prolactin.
  4. Obesity - do regular exercise and yoga.
  5. High cholesterol - check for lipid profile and plan for regular exercise.
  6. Chronic disease or on any chronic medication - share details if any.
  7. Anxiety.

I suggest you do the following tests.

  1. USG Pelvis and routine urine test to rule out pelvis infection.
  2. Thyroid function test Free T3, T4, and TSH.
  3. Lipid Profile to know cholesterol level.
  4. Blood Pressure.
  5. RBS (random blood sugar).
  6. Prolactin and testosterone to rule out hormonal imbalance.

Kindly share more details regarding the above, so we can work on the cause and treatment. I suggest you take the tablet Mildfil 5 mg twice a day as a temporary solution.

Thank you.
