Patient's Query
Hello doctor.
Previously I had a bare body massage done, followed by a handjob; this is the only exposure I have had, and I am concerned. In 12 days, I will have an HIV Ag/Ab test (hiv antigen/antibody test), and in 18 days, I will have an RNA PCR qualitative test. It has not been discovered.
RNA PCR viral load at 26 days TND.
Duo at 41 days nonreactive.
Duo at 59 days nonreactive.
65 days Tri dot non-reactive.
72 days Rapid test non-reactive.
82 days I go for a card test and find that there was a faint line on HIV 1 part then I went to repeat the sample result is nonreactive
Did rapid test from four different lab results non reactive mean it is negative?
The HIV CLIA test at 96 days was nonreactive.
My concern is, what is the risk of my massage and handjob exposure? I am concerned about the quick card test at 82 days, however, the same lab tested the identical card and another company's card result is non reactive. Then I ran Tridot by J Mitra, which came out nonreactive, and Abbott HIV 1/2 fast, which also came back non-reactive.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Unless there are bleeding sores in the hand, there is little risk of HIV transmission through massage and handjob. It is quite unlikely, as you would have seen. HIV testing has consistently come out negative. If there is no future risk exposure, the HIV antibodies test after 90 days at a trustworthy laboratory is definitive. False positive findings are possible with quick testing, particularly those performed at home. I do not understand why you are concerned about HIV. There is no need for further HIV testing.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thank you.
Regards
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
There was no bleeding wound on my hand as I can see. But what if she touches the genital area and masturbates me and touches my urethra? As far as I know, there was only a pimple on my hand.
Please help
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If this is the case, the risks of HIV transmission are extremely minimal, if not nonexistent. However, the HIV tests were negative. They are conclusive. There is no reason to be concerned about HIV.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
Regards.
