Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Two weeks ago, I started experiencing very mild cramping, which is unusual because I am not supposed to start my period until this month. The cramps are very mild, lasting only a couple of seconds, and then they go away. I am still having them, but I am unsure if it means my period is coming early. I am feeling confused. Additionally, I have been urinating more frequently. I have also started to experience headaches that last for just a couple of seconds; they are sharp, but now I am dealing with a regular dull headache. I am feeling very gassy, which is unusual for me because I typically become constipated before my period and cannot pass gas.
However, this time, it feels different. My body just feels off, as though something is different this time. Today, I also felt lightheaded and dizzy, so I laid down and took a nap, which is not something I usually do. Also, along with the cramps, two days ago, I started feeling an electric shock sensation in my vagina that lasted for about a second and then went away. I am also experiencing a stuffy nose and sneezing, though I am not sure if it is related. Could you help me understand what might be happening?
Please guide.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for posting your query.
I am very sorry to hear about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to the changes in your body. But do not worry, I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I believe several possible conditions may be responsible for your clinical presentation, including the electric sensation around your vagina. These conditions include: pregnancy, hormonal imbalance, a pelvic mass compressing the nerves around the vagina, vaginal dryness, or menstruation. Based on the information you have provided, I strongly believe that the menstrual blood coming out may be responsible for the changes you are experiencing due to shifts in your hormone levels.
As for the stomach gas, constipation, and stuffy nose, I would suggest that they may not be related to your current condition. I recommend that you do a hormone profile test and a pregnancy test, and then share the results with me. Additionally, please take the following medications:
Gaviscom syrup, (sodium alginate, 133.5mg sodium bicarbonate, and 80mg calcium carbonate) 20 milliliters orally, three times a day for one week.
Vitamin C 1000 international units, two tablets orally, three times a day for one week.
Clarithromycin 500 milligrams, two tablets orally, twice a day for one week.
If you have any more concerns or questions, feel free to schedule an appointment.
Please let me know if you want some help.
Thank you.
