Hello doctor,

I have some pimple-like symptoms in my pubic region. I noticed it over three weeks ago. Assuming it is just heat rashes, I have applied some soothing cream on it, but they are not fading. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

There is no pain, no itching, or discomfort of any kind. Please see the attached pictures I just took this morning. This is now in the fourth week of the incident. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I have gone through the images you have attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). This looks like an infection and can be due to shaving.

Kindly answer the following:

Did this start with a single lesion (pimple) and then gradually increase in number??

Does this start after shaving?

Please reply to the answers to the above-asked questions so that I can guide you better.

I wish you good health.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

They all showed up at the same time. I do not think it was after shaving. The only key incident I can remember was when I had an erotic massage with a therapist, which involved body-on-body techniques with both of us naked. That was like one week before I noticed the appearance of the bumps.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

This is mostly an infection from that massage. I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below:

  1. Apply Clindamycin cream three times daily.

  2. Apply Candid B cream (antifungal) thrice daily.

  3. Wash with warm water twice daily.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope I have solved your query.

I will be happy to help you further.

I wish you good health.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Oh ok... Is there like any medical name for the condition?
Thanks for your follow up question on icliniq. This looks like infection, mostly fungal infection.
