My father is about 58 years old and weighs 127 pounds. He has been suffering from a fever for 18 days. When I visited, the local doctor said to do the test of widal, total leucocyte count (TLC), and differential leucocyte count (DLC). The result came in, which widal was positive, and the white blood cell count was 13500, after which the doctor suggested an injection of Ceftriaxoneone gram and Amikacin 500 milligrams twice daily for six days. After six days, when I tested again, white blood cell (WBC) counts to 10000. After five days, the doctor suggested Goodcef CV and Azithromycin for six days. I tested again WBC counts to 15900. My father underwent a chest x-ray and electrocardiogram, and it was normal. The typhoid test is positive. He is regularly suffering from urine problems such as burning and painful urinal flow. The doctor suggested a urine culture report. The doctor diagnosed Klebsiella pneumonia and recommended Septran DS, Ceftum twice daily, and Azithromycin 500 milligrams once daily. Please provide me with suggestions.
