How to overcome suicidal thoughts caused by an eating disorder?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Suicide is always in my head. I want to kill myself because I think that is the only way to solve all of my problems. I cannot sleep at night. I think I have an eating disorder because every time I eat, I feel like I am going to throw up. I want to kill myself every night. I feel like crying out loud every night. I am tired, and I want to sleep. I feel like I just want to be dead.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your problem and situation.

Suicide is not the solution to any problem but every problem has one good solution. You just need to find the proper person to get help and direction. You must consult your nearest psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and treatment. You need to start taking medications like the capsule Fluoxetine and the tablet Clonazepam, which will help you. You must ask your doctor to evaluate your personality like borderline personality disorder. It will help you.

I hope this addresses your concern.

Revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.
