Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I attempted to engage in sexual activity for the first time today. Although there was some penetration, it was incomplete. I experienced significant discomfort and noticed some bleeding. My partner did ejaculate, but not inside me. I am feeling anxious about the possibility of pregnancy, especially since I have not taken any emergency contraception. Additionally, I am uncertain about whether this experience affects my virginity status.
Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I completely understand your concern.
I am very sorry to hear about what you are experiencing, and I want to recommend that you pay close attention to the changes in your body. Please rest assured, I am here to support and care for you.
Regarding your symptoms
It is possible that your hymen (a thin, elastic membrane situated at the entrance of the vagina) remains intact, and the pain you felt may have occurred from the penis being larger rather than from any tear.
If ejaculation occurred, could you let me know whether it happened inside or outside the vagina (a stretchy tube inside your body that connects the area just inside your external genitals (vulva) to the uterus (womb), given that penetration was limited?
If your period is late, I recommend taking a pregnancy test and letting me know the result when you can.
What can you do next?
Feel free to share any additional concerns or questions. You can schedule a direct appointment or choose to follow up via chat, phone, or video consultation.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert if there is any query.
