Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

When I was studying in 10th standard, my cousin took me to a browsing center and showed me adult content. Later, I started watching porn without him. I wasted my 11th and 12th standard and failed. I took home tuition and entered college. I joined B-tech IT, I could not stop watching Adult content again and started masturbating, affecting my boldness. I became addicted and was unable to sleep without masturbation. Seven years back, I joined an English coaching institute. They checked all my online chats, and asked all my female colleagues about my interaction with them. I failed was my coordinator opened my private mobile chats and reported to the management. I have faced several problems and fear people might expose my masturbation habit. My parents refused to talk to the institute. I have a younger sister who is unsupportive, rude, and embarrassed me in front of others by revealing my secrets. I cannot answer back boldly and get scolded by family for no mistake of mine. I am taking Zisper Forte (Risperidone) and Lozapin (Clozapine). How do I come out of this problem? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

You must stop watching pornography, erotic videos, and doing masturbation. It will ruin your future. Take the help of your friends or elders to solve the problems of your coaching institute. I suggest the following measures:

  1. Exercise daily for 30 to 45 minutes by at least walking. It will boost your confidence.

  2. Meditate for 20 minutes, sit in one place in a comfortable position, and try to concentrate on your normal breathing. Do not force yourself to stop your thoughts, let it be. It will relax you.

  3. Eat healthy home-cooked foods and avoid junk foods.

  4. Drink enough water.

  5. Spend quality time with friends and family daily or do video calls if you are living away from them.

  6. Spend time on creative hobbies like reading good books, writing journals, painting, drawing, and learning new skills, language, or musical instruments.

  7. Sleep for seven to eight hours daily.

  8. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, and any substance abuse.

  9. Live your life, do not just spend it.

  10. Be bold and confident.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
