Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My husband has a grade 4 hiatal hernia and an overactive bladder issue. He is also not able to be involved in intercourse. He underwent a piles operation three years ago. Please advise if there is any possibility of treating his sexual problem. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Your husband might have developed benign prostate hypertrophy.

I advise you to take the following medications.

  1. Take a tablet of Finasteride 5mg and a tablet of Ketoconazole 200mg four times daily.
  2. Take a tablet of Metronidazole 400mg thrice daily.
  3. Take a capsule of Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin) 625mg two times a day.
  4. Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take the medications with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
