How can I overcome the hair fall associated with male-patterned baldness?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 32-year-old woman. My hair has started receding in a male pattern of hair loss. Growth occurs at times, but then recedes. What shall I do? I saw a doctor and took Finasteride as prescribed for six months, but there was no improvement. Are there any special tests that I should take? I am quite worried. It has been damaging my confidence my entire life. Kindly help.

Thank you.
