Patient's Query
Hi,
I am a 35-year-old woman, I do not face any health issues and am not under any medications either. I believe that diet and exercise prevent all kinds of illness. Recently, I got a little information about curcumin. Does curcumin have enormous health benefits? Is it the same as turmeric? If yes, can I replace turmeric with curcumin in all the dishes that I prepare, as I get more curcumin in my place? Need your suggestion and guidance on this. Please suggest.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and would like to guide you through it.
Curcumin is the primary active compound of turmeric. The medicinal properties of turmeric mainly come from curcumin. It has been shown to benefit inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, and pain, and to help in the management of inflammatory and degenerative eye conditions. In addition, it has been shown to benefit the kidneys. You can add curcumin to your cooking dishes for the health benefits it offers.
Please follow up if you have any further queries about it.
Thank you.
