Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My father is 70 years old, and we recently discovered that he has elevated levels of C-reactive protein in his blood during his last week's blood work. Why do C-reactive protein levels become elevated? He is a diabetic patient and takes medication for it. What health conditions can be caused by this elevated C-reactive protein level, and how can it be controlled? Please advise.
