How effective are the anti-aging products?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been getting pretty obsessed with this whole anti-aging stuff lately. So here is my question:

  1. Do you think it is possible to not just slow down aging but reverse it and turn back the biological clock?
  2. As someone who studied medicine, what is your opinion?
  3. Do you think significantly increasing our lifespan and reducing the effects of old age could be achieved in our lifetime?

I am honestly getting obsessed with the idea of living way past 100 if the science checks out. Let me know your thoughts. This topic has me so intrigued.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It is fascinating to hear about your interest in anti-aging and the idea of reversing the aging process. Research into cellular reprogramming suggests that certain molecules may influence aging by activating pathways that restore youthful cell function. These compounds aim to promote healthier aging and potentially extend lifespan by encouraging cells to behave as they did in a more youthful state.Research is still in the early stages, with much of it conducted on animals. Proven methods for healthy aging include:

  1. Regular exercise.

  2. Balanced diet.

  3. Managing stress.

  4. Maintaining strong social connections.

  5. Getting enough sleep.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
