Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 38 and have been getting the worst breakouts around my chin and jawline every month. I think it is hormonal acne because it tends to flare up before my period. I feel like I have tried everything, from drugstore products to facials, but nothing seems to work long-term. Is there anything specifically recommended for women in their 30s or 40s dealing with this type of breakout? I am also concerned about wrinkles and skin texture, so I do not want to overdo it with anything too harsh.
Please help.

A dermatologist can help tailor a plan that balances acne control with anti-aging goals. It is very possible to treat both concerns without overdoing it.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
