Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 23-year-old male. My height is 6 feet, and my weight is 143 lbs. I have something coming out of my penis from the smooth skin right below the head of the penis. The skin that relaxes and stretches is black-headed on the top and yellowish, and it looks like blackheads on the face.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Please share a picture of the affected area. If there was unprotected sex, one needs to think of sexually transmitted infection. So, I suggest you do the following tests:

  1. TPHA (treponema pallidum hemagglutination).
  2. HPV (human papillomavirus) DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) PCR (polymerase chain reaction test).
  3. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) one and two immunoglobulin G.
  4. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) one and two immunoglobulin M, serum.
  5. Chlamydia trachomatis IgG.
  6. Human immunodeficiency virus one and two antibodies, screening test.
  7. Hepatitis B surface antigen.
  8. Urine complete.

Otherwise, it can be a simple bacterial infection. I suggest you use ointment Mupirocin for local application and Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for five days. If there is itching, it might be a fungal infection. For that, Beclomethasone and Clotrimazole combination ointment is suggested for local application, and for itching, take a tablet of Cetirizine once a night. Make sure you wash your genitalia twice a day, morning and night. Use normal water and no cold or hot water. Do not use heavy pH soap.

I hope this helps.

Follow up if you have more doubts.

Kind regards.
