Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My mother is suffering from vomiting and acute headache from the last two weeks. I have visited a local doctor and he has suggested some tests. After doing all the tests he prescribed some medicine for vomiting and headache. But the problem continues. When we revisit the doctor he suggested for MRI and further blood tests. I have already done all the tests. I am sharing the test reports with you. Please check the reports and suggest what kind of treatment she needs to recover from the problem. My mother has hypertension and essential hypertension and taking Telma 40 and TVS 10 medicines for the last year. Also taking Vasograin for an acute headache.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have seen the MRI brain report (attachment removed to protect patient identity), suggesting multiple sebaceous cysts in the brain, and ring like enhanced lesion on cerebellum (small brain) right side which can be infective lesion like tuberculoma, neurocysticercosis, toxoplasmosis or tumor lesion like astrocytoma or medulloblastoma or secondary metastatic tumor or may be benigntumor. That is why she is developing that condition. Her condition might be worse if she will not get proper attention. Kindly follow following instructions. Admit her in any hospital under neurologist. Keep her in ICU. Make her BP stable. Go for diffusion-weighted MRI for a clearpicture, CT thorax to rule out any lung or breast malignancy. Do lumbar puncture and CSF fluid analysis. Rule out through blood cultures any parasitic, worm, bacterial or viral infection according to that treatment.
