Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have cold and feverish feeling from yesterday. But I do not have fever. I check my body temperature every now and then. I took Biogesic last night and this morning. But still, I feel unwell and heavy inside. My body temperature seems to be at 98 degree Fahrenheit. I do not have headaches or any other symptoms. Do I need to take Biogesic or any other medicine constantly?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Please mention whether you had a fever before taking Biogesic (Nimesulide). Please mention whether you have any joint pain or body ache, sore throat, pain during urination, and cough. Please mention whether you had any possible exposure with the people having these symptoms. Please mention whether you have gone to any public places this week. Please mention whether any of your family members have these similar symptoms. For now, you seem to have a systemic viral illness. But we need to rule out the possibility of COVID-19 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). If you have any of the above-mentioned symptoms, then it is best to consult a local doctor to have COVID-19 testing. Please be cautious. We do not know whether it is COVID-19 or not. But there is a possibility. We need to rule out them immediately. If the result is negative, then it is a systemic viral illness and it is self-limiting. Thank you.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I do not had any fever before taking Biogesic. I do not have joint pain, body aches, sore throat, or other pain. I do not have any exposure with the people having similar symptoms. But every day I will check my body temperature due to my work. Do I need to take Biogesic or any other medicine continuously?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
There is no need to take Biogesic continuously when you do not have a fever or any other related symptoms. You can take Ascorbic acid tablets two times a day. Increase your fluid intake daily and take atleast two liters of water every day. If you notice any symptoms with fever or cough or cold, then you need to consult your local doctor to get tested for COVID-19. Continue wearing masks, face shields, handwashing, and social distancing. If you are in an enclosed room, try to stay away from the walls and from the direction of air-conditioning airflow.
