Can vaping be a cause of tooth stains and tooth decay?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I occasionally vape when I am out with my friends. Can vaping cause visible results on my teeth like nicotine stains and tooth decay?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

The dentist can obviously tell that you smoke maybe not very initially but this much time is enough. The saliva, the smell in your mouth, stains, and the inflammation of your gums and tongue are some of the changes caused by vaping. So, I suggest you stay away from these things.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
