Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a breastfeeding mother. I have been experiencing vaginal dryness for the past few days. When I have sex with my husband, the sperms always pour out. Why so?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
Breastfeeding can cause a decrease in estrogen levels, which can lead to vaginal dryness. This is a common side effect and can be managed with lubrication during sexual intercourse. It is also important to communicate with your partner and take things slow to reduce discomfort during sex.
As for the issue of sperm leakage, it is normal for some semen to leak out of the vagina after sex. However, if you are experiencing excessive leakage or notice a change in the amount or consistency of your vaginal discharge, it is important to have an appointment with your gynecologist.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
