Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
To begin with, I would like to say that I have never had sex or kissed anyone before. I recently did a urine test and the result was negative. My urine used to burn because I was douching accidentally. However, I started washing my vagina more cautiously and the symptoms resolved after a day or so. However, even now it slightly burns but not as badly as before. Could this be due to dehydration or intake of soda or friction?
My vagina feels weird sometimes, and I could feel irritation rather than a burning sensation. Can this occur due to my Fordyce spots getting inflamed from friction due to my clothing? My discharge is normal and its consistency ranges from liquid to relatively thick but is always white and odorless. I am slightly confused with the results and the symptoms. Is this a recurring yeast infection?
This has been coming and going for a year now but, as I said, it stopped recently. But, these spots persist. They do not hurt to touch. Are these spots Fordyce spots or are they herpes lesions? Weeks before I got my urine tested, I got a red spot on the inside of my nose. Later, there was pus formation and it burst. The pus was thick and it bled a little, and it hurt to touch. There was scab formation. The spot went off in about four to five days. I do not pick my nose but I kind of pull on the sides because it feels irritating at times. I did not care much about this until I started picking my nose frequently. Could this be a cold sore or pustules? Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I completely understand your concern. Let us discuss how to solve it.
There is nothing to worry about. Your symptoms seem to be related to the urogenital system. I went through the pictures (images removed to protect the patient’s identity), and it is suggestive of a mixed infection. I suggest you do the following:
Clean your vagina regularly using a vaginal wash.
Use Clindamycin and Clotrimazole (Clingen) vaginal tablets. Use one tablet a day for three days.
Drink plenty of water daily.
Take a capsule of Itraconazole 200 mgonce a day.
Take 15 ml (milliliter) of syrup Disodium hydrogen citrate (Citralka) in 200 ml of water three times a day.
Take a capsule of Doxycycline and Lactobacillus (Doxt-SL) twice a day on the first day and one tablet per day from the second day onwards.
Take tablets Bilastine and Montelukast (Bilastin M) once a day.
Take all for seven days. Do follow-up after three days. As there was no unprotected vaginal Intercourse, there are no chances of getting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
We look forward to serving you once more.
Thank you.
