Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The vaccination schedule for children is designed to protect them from various serious illnesses from a young age. The usual schedule followed by many countries:

  1. Birth: Hepatitis B (first dose).
  2. One to two months: Hepatitis B (second dose).
  3. Two months: DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis), rotavirus, poliovirus, Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib), pneumococcal vaccine
  4. Four months: DTaP, rotavirus, poliovirus, Hib, pneumococcal vaccine
  5. Six months: DTaP, rotavirus, poliovirus, Hib, pneumococcal vaccine, hepatitis B (third dose).
  6. 12 to 15 months: Hib, pneumococcal vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), varicella (chickenpox).
  7. 15 to 18 months: DTaP, Hepatitis A.
  8. Four to six years: DTaP, poliovirus, MMR, varicella.
  9. 11 to 12 years: Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), HPV (human papillomavirus), meningococcal.

This schedule might vary slightly depending on the country, the availability of vaccines, and specific health guidelines.

Vaccines are generally safe and effective. They undergo rigorous testing during development, followed by careful monitoring by medical authorities once they are in use. Common side effects are usually mild and temporary, such as soreness at the injection site or a mild fever. Serious side effects are extremely rare. Vaccines are highly effective in preventing the diseases they target. By getting vaccinated, children develop immunity without the risks of severe health consequences associated with these diseases. Vaccination protects your child and helps safeguard the community by contributing to herd immunity. This is particularly important for those who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Regards.
