This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I and my fiancee have ureaplasma parvum (DNA analysis). I have no symptoms, she has a little excreta. Should we take antibiotics or not?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query. Men usually do not get significant symptoms in this infection. Women usually get some whitish discharge, not very significant. It would be best to get it treated and both of you would need treatment as it can be sexually transmitted. However, it is completely curable. I would suggest you visit your local urologist for a clinical examination before any treatment.
