This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

My sister has severe pain in her wisdom tooth. She has her final exams soon. Please suggest medicine for the same. She is taking some home remedies, but it is not effective for more than three hours.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Ask your sister to maintain oral hygiene and use mouthwash after brushing twice daily. Rinse mouth with salt water and turmeric mixture twice a day. Use only lukewarm water while rinsing your mouth. Take tablet Ketorol - DT (Ketorolac tromethamine)10 mg, to reduce pain if it still persists after home remedy. Dissolve one tablet in two spoons of water and drink. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Thank you.
