Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have repeated tachycardia, but my echo and TMT reports are quite normal. I am a 30-year-old female with hypothyroidism. Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

What kind of tachycardia do you get? Is it sudden, episodic, or at rest? How much maximum heart rate do you get during tachycardia? If it is episodic or at rest and associated with shortness of breath, chest heaviness, and dizziness, then there is a possibility of cardiac arrhythmia. However, I think anxiety is a likely cause, and you should get yourself examined for that and start prescription medication once a day if blood pressure is atleast more than 110 mmHg. You should also get your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels and hemoglobin levels checked. I hope this helps you. Get back if you have any doubts or more information to share.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
