If you had unprotected sex, it can be a sexually transmitted infection. Please go for the following tests.

  1. TPHA (Treponema pallidum hemagglutination).
  2. HPV (human papillomavirus) DNA PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) test.
  3. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) one and two IgG (Immunoglobulin G).
  4. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) one and two IgM, serum.
  5. Chlamydia trachomatis IgG (Immunoglobulin G).
  6. HIV one and two antibodies screening tests.
  7. Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) test.
  8. Complete urine test.

If these tests are not positive then it can be a simple bacterial infection. You can use ointment T Bact (Mupirocin) for local application and tablet Doxy 100 milligrams (Doxycycline) twice a day for 5 days.

If there is itching it can be a fungal infection. Use ointment Candid B for local application and for itching, take tablet Cetirizine once a night.

Make sure you wash your genitalia twice a day in the morning and night and use normal water. Do not use cold or hot water. Do not use heavy pH soap.
