Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I did not feel any symptoms. It has been there for three months, and both of my inner thighs are affected.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
You are suffering from striae distensae. It is a very chronic harmless disorder and is due to a sudden increase or decrease of subcutaneous fat. A sudden increase or decrease in obesity can lead to it, along with a few hormonal problems like thyroid disorder, PCOD (polycystic ovarian disorder), adrenal hormone problems. I would advise you to massage the area with bio-oil and Palomar cocoa buttercream 3 to 4 times daily. In resistant cases, one can go for microneedling radiofrequency procedures.
