Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 27-year-old female, and I weigh 140 pounds. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall. I have sleep trouble, and I am feeling stressed. I am getting ready for a test. I work out to help me relax. I often feel exhausted. For the past two weeks, I have been constipated. It was hard for me to go to the toilet. Now, I have difficulties waking up. Also, I had an implant 18 months ago. I did not have my periods for some time. I have started to have my periods again for the last ten months. My last period was two weeks ago. What do you suggest for my lack of energy and tiredness?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
By the limited history provided, I feel you have generalized fatigue. You also have a lot of stress and anxiety while preparing for your upcoming exam. Period problems could be due to stress which is common, and also fatigue. I suggest you get your hemoglobin test done and correct the same if you find it low. Depending on the test results, you may have to take medication for this for up to six months. I suggest you consult your physician for your anxiety, who will help you with temporary medications to ride over the exam stress. These medications could be beta-blockers or anxiolytics for the short term, which needs to be evaluated to suit you better after a detailed evaluation.
Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
