Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

How to deal with depression? I feel constantly that my life is ruined. I have dealt with two years of failure in my professional studies and some family issues. And life seems to go nowhere. I experience palpitations and ache in my chest many times a week now. What would you suggest in such a case?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

In the current scenario, the ongoing stress is the cause of depression that ruined the life. It is impossible to remain stress-free but we can try to handle this. Stress creates more problems for a single person than when we are in a group. Do not feel lonely because it creates more stress and become a part of the vicious cycle. So to remove stress, it is necessary to remain in a group and start talking about problems. Have you heard the proverb sorrow goes down by sharing and happiness increase by sharing? So my advice to you is to start talking about your problems with your friends, colleague or loved ones. Start physical activities, try to make yourself busy anytime. Do one pleasurable activity daily that you want, sleep properly and feel the pleasure. You should try medicine initially and relaxation techniques for chest discomfort, palpitations, and other symptoms.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
