Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I attended a strip club and while receiving a private dance, the stripper inserted her fingers into her vagina and then placed them in my mouth. I am concerned about possible exposure to an STI. I feel I have a swelling in my scrotum with some minor tenderness. There are no other symptoms present. Am I at risk for developing an STI?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
Practically, there is no risk of transmission of any serious STI (sexually transmitted infection) at all by this activity. She inserted her finger in the vagina and just placed it in your mouth. This can theoretically have the risk of transmission of herpes only in the rarest cases. There is no risk of transmission of any other serious STD.
Secondly, most of the strippers are not actually commercial sex workers. They are considered as safe and they usually do not carry any STI. Also, she never touched your genital area. So, the risk of transmission is not there.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
