Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been alone my whole life, as a result of possible childhood trauma. I want to socialize but am afraid to do so. What to do?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
The symptoms like difficulty in conversing with others, anticipation about others if they are good or not in mind due to bad childhood trauma, etc. could be occurring due to underlying social anxiety. A lot of individuals with a bad childhood or history of abuse show such symptoms. If you do not have time for sessions of therapy then you can think of taking medicines.
Drugs like SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) can help to improve social anxiety.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
