Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 20-year-old girl. I have been having skin problems since the age of 15. I have very bright skin from my neck down. Only the face and arms are way darker. So my face has this dull-looking skin even when I already use a scrub, and so many skin care products and serums, etc. I have no idea how to solve this. I have consulted a dermatologist before, and the skincare solution he suggested did not solve my skin problem. I have also taken capsule Isotretinoin before. My skin is dry around my lips, and oily on my nose and cheeks. I have a very hairy face. I have a very visible girl mustache. I would like to inform you that the spots from my previous acne and pimples are now brown and darker. Also, my pores are big around my nose and cheeks. I am currently using a cleanser for my oily skin and moisturizer.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
With your description, it seems you have acne scars and hirsutism. I suggest you can apply gel Aziderm 20 percent (Azelaic acid) daily during night hours over the affected area. You may also use an anti-acne foaming face wash twice a day. You may go for intense pulse light therapy (IPL) for hair removal, I would suggest you get a review with a photograph if possible for better evaluation and the best possible treatment of your concern. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the skincare solution with their consent.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
Regards.
