Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have visited two dermatologist clinics. They never stop offering me strange creams and lotions on prescription. I suddenly have red lines all over my body. Blood specks may be seen in the center of the red lines. They show up on my head, chest, and arms. When this occurs, my upper body and scalp feel like they are on fire. It gradually moves down my body. Just my arms were affected, and now my legs are as well. Additionally, I have a few tiny, hard, red pimples on my face, which is not typical for me. I also have tingling and a nasty creeping sensation. I got shingles a few years back. Could this be shingles again? Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
It becomes a chronic problem as you describe. What month or season do you notice and when it disappears and returns?
Please follow the suggestions listed below.
Take lukewarm water or warm water with Betadine (antiseptic) solution, and take bath.
When you use a 1:1 mixture of rosewater and glycerin whenever you have rashes, all over the body in the early morning.
Wash all the clothes in disinfectant and, if possible, place them in sunlight.
If the sunlight increases, apply sunscreen lotion before leaving the house. It is true that skin disease is chronic and can last for years, on and off.
Tablet Fluconazole 150 mg, once per day for six days.
Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg, once per day for six days.
Tablet Defcort (Deflazacort 12 mg) one after lunch and dinner for nine days.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
