Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 35-year-old male suffering from low libido. I have reduced interest in having sex. I considered consulting a sexologist nearby but currently he is out of town. Kindly help to improve my libido.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Low libido can occur for a variety of causes, including infections, diabetes, and hypertension; make sure your blood culture, pressure, and sugar levels are tested and under control. Other factors include hormonal imbalances such as low testosterone, low thyroid levels, excessive prolactin levels, and testosterone. Obesity, high cholesterol, chronic illness, or being on any chronic medicine, as well as anxiety, can all create libido problems. So I recommend that you have a USG (ultrasonogram) pelvis to rule out infection, a Thyroid check-up, a Free T3,T4,TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) lipid profile to determine your cholesterol level, blood pressure, and random blood sugar readings, among other things. Also, if you are taking any medications, I propose that you take Tablet Mildfil (tadalafil) 5 mg twice a day as a temporary remedy.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
Regards.
