Patient's Query
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Hormonal issues sometimes result in reduced libido. If epilepsy is under control, then it cannot be the reason.
Reduced libido in females can occur due to stress. Try to spend more time in foreplay, and this should help you. Have a warm water bath before sex, and this will make you relaxed during sex. Get your hormonal profile done (serum estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels). This will rule out the hormonal cause. If you feel pain during sex, use neutral jelly-like K-Y gel for easy penetration. Timing of you and your husband is very important in improving sex life. Talk to your husband, tell him what you want exactly without hesitation, and ask him about any specific demands. This will help in improving communication, and you will feel better. Also, please let me know which medicines are you taking now?
