I never had an orgasm from penetration. How to fix this?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I never had an orgasm from penetration. I had a clitoral orgasm, so it is only an issue with penetration. Is it true that some women do not have an orgasm from penetration, or is there anything I can fix?

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have an orgasm dysfunction. Orgasm failure is a type of sexual dysfunction. It is a common problem that occurs due to various reasons. Some ladies may not receive the right kind of stimulation during sex; some may have experienced trauma linked to sex in their earlier life and, some women may not be interested in sex.

Other factors that cause orgasm failure are stress, poor general health, mental health issues, hormonal imbalances, pelvic pain, recent abortion, sexual abuse, and female genital mutilation.

It could be treated with the following measures:

1)Exercise, yoga, and meditation.

2)Love and affection from the partner.

3)Positive body image.

4)Sex education.

5)Better communication with a partner.

6)Masturbation can help a person to find what feels good to them.

7)Use sexual lubricants.

8)Ask the partner to stimulate the clitoris during sex.

9)Simultaneously masturbate during sex.

10)Discuss all the feelings and fantasies with a partner.

The behaviors to increase the chances of orgasm during sex are deep kissing, self genital stimulation during vaginal intercourse, mutual oral sex, using a vaginal vibrator and, sex counseling.

I hope this would help.

Thank you.
