Can sciatica cause unbearable pain in one leg?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having pain in my right leg, from the lower back to the foot. I think it is sciatica pain. I am unable to bare the pain. Kindly suggest medicines for immediate pain relief and permanent cure.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I suggest the below treatment:

Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her and start the medicines with their consent. Also, get an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan and follow up with the reports.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
