Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I understand your concern. Please answer the following questions for details. Are there similar complaints from family members or partner? Do you maintain proper genital hygiene? Do you have excessive scratching and rubbing of lesions? Do you have a history of Scabies (an infection of the skin by a human itch mite)?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. No similar family complaints, and yes, I do not care much about washing the private part (testicles) with soap, but I wash it with water; it usually remains wet. I did not scratch the area before this problem arose, but now I occasionally rub and scratch. I have no history of scabies.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It appears to be a general itch due to improper hygiene and not keeping the area dry (frequent moisture, warmth, friction, occlusion, or heat). A possible diagnosis is genital scabies. I would advise the following. Apply 5 % Permethrin cream at night on days one and seven (contact period eight to twelve hours); repeat after one week. Permite BB (Elestab) bar or KZ soap (Ketoconazole) for two months. Maintain proper hygiene as hygiene plays a vital role. Keep the area clean and dry. Wear clean nonocclusive clothes, boxers, or inners. Wash clothes regularly and iron them. Tablet Loratidine once after breakfast for ten days (if itching is present). Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesions as it may cause secondary bacterial infection. Follow up after one week.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. Can I apply Clocip powder on testicles, or should I stop it?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Yes, you can apply Clocip powder (Clotrimazole and Lidocaine). However, another better option is Abzorb dusting powder (Clotrimazole powder) after a bath in areas of sweating and avoid activities that cause sweating.
