Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

We have been trying to conceive for the past eight months, but we are unable to do so. My health is absolutely fine and blood reports are normal. We need some tips.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

To get pregnant, certain things should be normal. Your husband's sperm count should be adequate and normal. Your fallopian tubes should be open. You should be ovulating, and you should know your fertile period. Traditionally, investigation to check these things starts at least a year after the inability to conceive. However, if you are still concerned, you should at least do SFA (seminal fluid analysis) to confirm the quality and quantity of your husband's sperm and do HSG (hysterosalpingography) to check if your tubes are open. If the two tests are fine, I will then suggest ovulation induction and suggest the duration and time for intercourse for you.

I hope this helps.

Revert in case of queries.

Kind regards.
