I am a 28-year-old woman, and I have been dealing with PCOS. Recently, my doctor informed me that I am also in the prediabetic stage and need to be mindful of my diet. I would appreciate more detailed insights and recommendations regarding dietary changes for diabetes prevention. I am concerned about the possibility of developing this condition at a young age, especially since my parents were diagnosed later in life. Despite my father's diligent adherence to a healthy diet, regular tests, and prescribed medications, he suffered a heart attack and passed away two years ago. This experience has made me skeptical about the effectiveness of diet alone. Please help.
