Why do I have a fleshy growth and an itchy swelling on the anus?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 20-year-old male. I have been having fleshy growth and swelling on the anus for a month. It does not cause much pain, but it causes itching and cause irritating sensation most of the time. I also had the same problem for two years, but at that time, it caused pain but not an itching and irritating sensation. Last time fleshy growth was very small.

Please help me, doctor.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is external piles. So it is better if you do not have constipation and spend minimum time in the toilet.

I suggest you use (consult with a specialist doctor, talk with him or her and take the medicines with their consent)

1. Tablet Daflon (Diosmin and Hesperidin) 500 mg twice daily after meals for ten days.

2. Powder Cremadiet (Isphagula Husk) two scoops at bedtime with a glass of water for ten days.

3. Cream Pilorute (Calcium Deobesilate, Hydrocortisone, Lidocaine, Troxerutin, Zinc Oxide, and Phenylephrine) for local application over anal opening after stool excretion twice daily for ten days.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your response.

I was so worried. So medicine can cure it, and there is no need for an operation, right? What about food patterns, doctor?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It should get better with medicines. I suggest you avoid spicy and oily food items.

Thank you.
