What could cause bladder and penis head pain along with decreased urine output in someone?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had pain in the urinary bladder and the head of the penis. Also, my urine output is low. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern

Weak flow and incomplete emptying of the bladder are symptoms of bladder obstruction. This can be caused by stone, stricture, or neurological issues. To reach a diagnosis, we need a few tests like urine analysis, ultrasound of the KUB (kidneys, ureters, and urinary bladder), uroflowmetry, urethrogram, and urodynamics. I would advise consulting a urologist in person to get these tests done, following which I would be able to advise the treatment.

Kindly revert for more queries.

Thank you.

It depends on the diagnosis and what is causing this issue. Then only we can comment on the treatment and how long it will take.

Thank you.
