Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have had pain in the lower left area of my pelvis for almost a week now. The pain is mild and feels like some strain. The pain is not constant and occurs when I bend while leaning forward. It also happens when I try to sit down or stand up (most of the time, but not always).
Also, I have pain if I raise my left leg forward, but there is no pain if I raise my left leg to the side. I have no other symptoms, so I am unsure if this is a strain or something else. I never had this issue before.
Please give your suggestions.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below,
1. Avoid bending forward.
2. Use a support belt.
3. Avoid stress, strain exertion, lifting heavy weights, rigorous exercise, etc.
4. Take the tablet Shelcal (calcium supplement) once daily after meals with water unless contraindicated for seven days.
5. Take Calcirol (vitamin D supplement) sachet once a week for four weeks.
6. Take the tablet Neurobion forte (vitamin B1, B6, and B12) once daily after meals with water. Consult a specialist, talk with them and take the medications with their consent.
7. Also, undergoing physiotherapy will help relieve the symptoms.
I hope this has helped you out.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
