Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My son is one year and two months old. He got infected with pneumonia and is under treatment. I want to know what precautions should I add to his care.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Follow the pediatrician's advice in the treatment of pneumonia. Take hygienic precautions to prevent the spread of infection to others by maintaining aseptic precautions and strict hand hygiene. Once the child recovers completely from pneumonia, give him an extra meal to recover and regain the lost weight. Give all recommended vaccinations as per the pediatrician's advice.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
