Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. Firstly, I would like to inform you that these days, PCOS/PMOS (polycystic ovary syndrome/polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) is very common, especially in the young population.

Symptoms such as irregular periods, scanty menses, acne, and excessive weight gain are frequently observed in individuals with PCOS/PMOS.

I have reviewed the blood reports you attached (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity), and they are within the normal range. I suggest you start taking a tablet containing Cyproterone (2.0 mg) and Ethinylestradiol (0.035 mg) once daily on day five of your menstrual cycle and continue taking it for the next 21 days without missing any doses.

After completing this cycle, take a break. Your period is expected to occur within two to seven days after discontinuing this tablet. Subsequently, begin the next strip from day five of your cycle. In addition to medication, I suggest that you make some lifestyle modifications for PCOS/PMOS as mentioned below:

  1. Engage in regular exercise and avoid consuming spicy and oily foods.
  2. Incorporate more green leafy vegetables and fruits into your diet.
  3. Consider having muesli with added seeds and 1 teaspoon of chia seeds in milk daily; this can help prevent hair fall and acne.
  4. Also, ensure you stay hydrated by drinking at least three liters of water per day.

I suggest you consult a specialist, talk with them, and take the medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you.

Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
