Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My brother-in-law got a paralysis attack, and the doctor had done MRI. The details are as follows.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern. If he is clinically stable and not admitted, there is nothing serious as such, and he needs to be started on anti-platelet drugs like Aspirin along with cholesterol-lowering drugs like Atorvastatin. He would also require evaluation for diabetes and hypertension. He also needs ECHO (echocardiogram) and a carotid doppler to check his cardiac status. He would need physiotherapy for the limb movement that might have a paralytic effect. You have not told me his current status, so I cannot comment on how serious it is. However, if he is stable, he will recover soon.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
