Are being overweight, having warts, and experiencing severe bleeding after intercourse causes for concern?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 27 years old, and I have been overweight for the last three years. My height is 5 feet and 6 inches, and I weigh 178 pounds. I could notice the presence of warts on my skin for a couple of months. The last time I had intercourse was about 18 months back, and I had severe bleeding for four hours. My periods have been regular, and it comes every 25 days. I would like to know whether there is anything to worry about. Kindly help.

Hello

Welcome to icliniq.com.

We will pay close attention to your worries and address all your questions with utmost care.

According to your description, there seems to be nothing abnormal or bad from a gynecology point of view, but you should maintain your weight within the normal BMI (Body Mass Index) to keep yourself healthy. I suggest you do the following:

  1. Do regular exercise and yoga asanas.
  2. Do brisk walking for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Include more green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet.
  4. Avoid oily and spicy foods.

Thank you for your trust in me.
