Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I went here because, you know, we are experiencing a pandemic, and I cannot quickly get out nor can tell about this to my parents. I want only to know why I am experiencing numbness in my legs. It is often, even if I only sit or stand, it gets numb. Then I always feel like I need to burp. It is always like there is something that is blocking my air, and I need to let it out. And I always feel tired like sometimes when we have a movie marathon I wanted to sleep already, or I breathe heavily, and the tiredness is happening to me for years as I will walk a little, but I get tired, and when I dance, I cannot finish a song I will get tired. When I tried dancing so much after that song, I run out of breath, and my throat feels so cold. Also, my heart sometimes will feel nervous and back again. I do not know if it is normal, and I am just paranoid, but I have a history of AGN (acute glomerulonephritis) in the kidney. I got it when I was 13, and now I am already 15, turning 16 in one month. I am a female of weight 56 kg and height is 5'4. I just want to know if it is normal. Last month my doctor said I am close to rheumatic heart disease. Kindly give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have tiredness and numbness in the leg, and also you have nervousness, for all these primarily do not get more stress or tension, maintain active life with exercise, do not sit or stand for a prolonged time.

I hope your AGN (acute glomerulonephritis) fully recovered because it is an acute problem, and it happened to you long before.

Also, you mentioned last month doctor told you are close to rheumatic heart disease, so keep follow up with the doctor and mention all your problems. If you can exclude thyroid function, investigation, thyroid function test would be better.

If you are too stressed, you can face different symptoms also.

Keep in contact with your doctor.

I hope this was helpful.
