Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
If I am thinking about something (any incident or imagination), I feel like I am going through something that makes it difficult for me to breathe.
My whole body is going numb, and feeling unusual pain inside my nose, head, or something. I do not know how to explain it.
It even makes me so damn weak for some time with an indescribable pain around my face.
But it is not an ordinary pain. It is something that I cannot describe, and it happens when I try to remind some memories or imaginary memories, and even sometimes, it pops up in my head without any reason. And I do not even remember what those memories are, but whenever I remind, those kinds of attacks hit me.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Your complaints sound like panic episodes.
Do you sleep enough? Do you know that an adult needs seven to eight hours of quality sleep at night? If you are not getting enough sleep, please try to make changes.
Sometimes dehydration can cause such symptoms. Therefore, you need to drink 4 to 8 cups of water (14 to 16 cups in summer) daily to keep yourself hydrated.
Also, try doing some meditation and deep breathing to calm your mind.
If none are helpful, please consult a psychiatrist in your locality. You may or may not need any medication. Sometimes the psychiatrist can talk to you, and you may feel better with a few counseling sessions.
I hope that helps.
Thank you and take care.
